Plain Fried Rice


Ingredients:

3 tb Vegetable oil
2 tb Onion, chopped
1 tb Garlic, chopped
5 c Cooked long-grain rice
1 c Tofu, diced
3 tb Soy sauce
1/2 ts White pepper

GARNISH

1 tb Cilantro leaves,chopped
1 c Cucumber,sliced
2 tb Red & green chilies,chopped
3 Green onions, chopped
1 Lime,cut into wedges

Methods:

Heat the oil in a wok over medium-high heat.Add the onion and stir-fry for 3 minutes.Add the garlic & stir-fry until both are golden.Add the rice & the tofu and stir-fry for 3 minutes.Sprinkle with soy sauce and white pepper.Remove from heat & place in a serving dish surrounded with garnishes.
